Jai Hind! In the national interest, governance reforms are not a choice –they are a necessity.

At the IIPA AGM @iipa9 ,raised critical concerns that India must urgently address to protect its democratic strength, institutional credibility, and global image:

Natural justice must guide the determination of salaries, allowances, and privileges for parliamentarians and legislators.

Convicted individuals must be permanently barred from holding any position in political parties.

Political parties must be brought under the RTI Act, ensuring public scrutiny and complete transparency.

All election manifestos should be submitted on oath to the Election Commission post-declaration and prior to nominations–promises must carry accountability.

Court proceedings should be videographed and made available under the RTI Act to build trust in justice delivery.

An All India Judicial Service must be constituted for the merit-based, transparent appointment of judges by UPSC or a similar body.

A transparent political system, accountable judiciary, and clean electoral process are the foundations of a stronger India. Let’s raise our voice for systemic reforms in the larger interest of the nation. India deserves nothing less.
